You have decided to make a change and join a gym. You have done all the pre-planning for the right day and picked the right gym.
Have you planned on what to wear?
Going to the gym for the first time can be intimidating. But you can look the part and be very comfortable.
1.) Wear high impact sneakers.
This is because you may not have been jumping, running or doing aerobics. The impact these moves can have on your feet could discourage your progress.
Invest in the right footwear and you are ready to take on the challenge. Also, you will beat potential foot pain and maybe injury.
2.) Wear comfortable clothes.
Wearing stretch fabrics that are quick drying will make your workout better.
However, if you don’t have quick dry clothing , that is fine. Bring a change of clothes with you.
Plan to sweat so much that your clothes will be wet. Even if you don’t, you are ready in case you do.
Leggings and a workout shirt are ideal for your new adventure.
3.) Bring Your Patience.
Results don’t happen over night and let’s be honest the first month will be the hardest. This is because you are doing something different and creating a new habit takes time.
Don’t give in to temptation to quit, if you know it will take time to see results, you will reach your goal.
